In seiner Freizeit pflegte er seine Malerei als Hobby und liess sich von Künstlern verschiedener Stilrichtungen inspirieren. Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen musste er seinen Beruf aufgeben. Seither kann er seine Zeit wieder seiner grossen Leidenschaft widmen. Die Malerei und das Eintauchen in Farben und Formen sind für Ihn Transzendenz, Zeitlosigkeit und Flow. Ihn interessiert das Spiel zwischen fast fotorealistischer Malerei und atmosphärischen Stimmungen.
