My name is Nina Tomšič Polegek, I'm an abstract artist, a graduate painter, a master's student in painting, a recreational athlete and singer in a mixed choir. Since childhood I have been constantly creating, drawing and painting, and in the last few years it has become a big part of my life. During my high school years I had a period when I created less and painting was not my priority. In 2015-16, I started painting again and in 2017 I got up the courage and enrolled in part-time painting studies at Arthouse in Ljubljana. In recent years, my priority has been painting, I mainly create abstract worls of art, mosty with acrylic paints on canvas, I like to create with colors and collage and explore other materials and art tools that can be used to create anything. In 2020, during the preparation pf my thesis, I feel in love with abstract expressionism and since then I have been creating artworks of larger formats, painting very spontaneously and lively, and always from moment to moment. I also work eith tattoo sketches and realistic drawings and I also tried painting on the wall.
