I love watercolor. Its flowing, its freedom, its indomitable temper, its spirit. It flows and draws me. I see it everywhere around me. Thin glazing in classical forms, spontaneous quick colors in the sky, dry brush in the bark of trees and in strained branches. All this I try to transfer to paper. Watercolor is transparent paint. A sheet of paper glows through the paint, which determines the special lightness of these paintings.
