La passion de Renée Tortet a commencé dès l’enfance.
Ses premiers dessins sont inspirés par les animaux et les fleurs. Elle a longtemps pratiqué cet Art en amateur avant de se consacrer totalement à la peinture.
Devenue professionnelle, elle a commencé à exposer collectivement puis en solo. Elle peaufine sa formation par la pratique de la peinture à l’huile dans l’atelier de Miguel Angel Ferrandiz et Aline Pédérencino.
Son répertoire artistique est un voyage, inspiré par la nature, les animaux, les personnes, allant d’œuvres fantaisistes à d’autres plus réalistes.
Elle explore ces dimensions artistiques à travers différents médiums, en utilisant une gamme d’outils et de matériaux (crayons, fusain, pastels, encre, peintures à l’huile et acryliques).
La peinture lui permet d’exprimer ses émotions, des univers auxquels son mental n’a pas accès. Son travail ne cesse d’évoluer au gré de ses humeurs, de ses inspirations et improvisations, allant du figuratif au figuratif tendance imaginaire ou à l’abstraction.
La liberté des styles de ses créations est sa marque de fabrique.
