Susan è nata a Christchurch, Nuova Zelanda, dove ha presto manifestato le sue attitudini nell'arte e nel design. Dopo un breve periodo di insegnamento Susan ha conseguito un diploma in Interior Design, presso il Chicago Institute of Design e successivamente ha ottenuto numerose commissioni perfezionandosi come interior designer.
Agli inizi degli anni '90 seguendo la sua passione si trasferisce a Londra e poi in Italia. In Europa frequenta numerosi corsi d'arte perfezionando una sua propria tecnica pittorica che oggi la identifica con uno stile del tutto originale. La sua lunga esperienza, la sua passione e l'amore per l'arte unite a quella inesauribile fonte di ispirazione che è la Toscana costituiscono gli ingredienti del suo fare arte oggi.
Un'arte sempre in evoluzione dove i colori ci raccontano le sue emozioni, i suoi sentimenti e dove i paesaggi, le viti e gli ulivi, le chiese e i casolari di Toscana ci parlano di un'amore della Bellezza come filosofia di vita. Negli ultimi anni Susan ha esposto le sue opere in san Gimignano, Bolgheri, Modica (Sicilia) e in Aukland, Nuova Zelanda. Susan dipinge con acquerelli, olio e acrilico.
