Après plusieurs décennies passées au service des plus grandes maisons de Luxe, notamment ces dernières années au sein d’une des plus prestigieuses Direction Artistique en qualité de Directeur Conception, j’ai décidé en 2021 de me consacrer pleinement à ma passion de toujours : La peinture.
J’ai souhaité que la peinture qui était jusque-là une activité parallèle, bien qu’extrêmement présente et indissociable de ma vie, devienne enfin mon métier.
Je suis désormais inscrit comme artiste professionnel avec une certification officielle de ma cote par Akoun, ce statut me permettant d’avancer beaucoup plus en avant et de me consacrer totalement à mon travail de peintre.
Mon inspiration, mes influences ont toujours été celles du début du XXème siècle avec pour modèles et piliers « l’Ecole de Paris » ou le « Novecento »…
Le portrait reste pour moi le meilleur vecteur pour véhiculer, transmettre une émotion. Cela est d’autant plus vrai lorsque le travail sur les harmonies de couleurs vient en appui du dessin…
Modigliani, Kisling, de Chirico, Sironi demeurent pour moi des références intemporelles.
