Geboren und aufgewachsen im Kulmbacher Land, male, schreibe, tanze und lache ich heute in Bindlach, nahe Bayreuth.
Im Rahmen meines Lehramtsstudiums belegte ich Kunstseminare an den Universitäten Bamberg und Bayreuth, unterrichtete dann an verschiedenen Haupt- und Mittelschulen und arbeitete nach meiner Promotion an der Universität Bayreuth in der Lehreraus- und -weiterbildung.
Sich mit Kunst auseinanderzusetzen oder gar zu malen, gab die Zeit lange nicht her – bis im Jahr 2008 vom Wissenschaftsministerium das „Jahr der Mathematik“ ausgerufen wurde. So arbeitete ich fortan daran, Mathematik und Kunst miteinander zu verbinden.
Es dauerte trotzdem noch ein paar Jahre, bis ich selbst wieder zu Pinsel und Farben griff. Der Drang selbst etwas zu schaffen ist immer größer geworden und mittlerweile ein Muss.
Momentan belege ich den Studiengang Zeichnung und Malerei bei Herrn Prof. Markus Lüpertz an der AdbK in Kolbermoor.
