Nicolas Mialet est né dans le Lot au début des années 1980, c'est là qu'il vit et crée une œuvre contemporaine influencée par les civilisations anciennes et les sociétés ultra modernes.
Au début des années 2000, Nicolas Mialet est arboriste, c'est l'arbre vivant. Durant une quinzaine d'années, il travaille au plus prés des arbres et très rapidement ce chemin le mène vers la sculpture, c'est l'arbre matière. Il réalise sa première création en 2007, début d'une histoire qui continue depuis.
Membre actif de l'association Solid'Art, qui a pour but de promouvoir la sculpture, Nicolas participe tout au long de l'année à plusieurs symposiums et manifestations en France et à l'étranger.
Artiste autodidacte, sensible et entier, il porte un regard curieux et critique sur ce monde. Fasciné par la verticalité, il réalise des colonnes inspirées des totems, souvenir des arbres, reflet des grattes ciel...
