Passionnée et spécialisée dans l'art animalier, elle travaille principalement ses tableaux à la peinture à l'huile et ses dessins aux pastels secs.
C'est d'abord le regard si expressif qu'elle tente de retranscrire dans ses tableaux afin d'encourager un échange émotionnel et de sensibiliser sur cet animal en particulier. L'ensemble des détails et le jeu des couleurs viennent ensuite apporter toute la complexité que l'on retrouve chez chaque animal.
Milie aime les couleurs vives, son travail est souvent contrasté et c'est pourquoi elle a affectionne tout particulièrement peindre les paons. Le bleu et l'immensité des détails chez cet oiseau la fascine.
