Peintre autodidacte, je pourrais dire que je suis "tombé dedans quand je suis né". C'est à l'âge de16 ans que j'ai découvert la peinture grâce au livre de feu Xavier de Langlais qui est devenu pour moi la bible de la peinture. Bien que mes parents aient fait l'impasse sur le monde des arts, j'ai réussi à décrocher un emploi de graphiste pour m'orienter ensuite vers l'illustration (pub, presse et édition) ce qui m'a apporté beaucoup sur le plan technique.
Ayant acquis une certaine maîtrise, j'ai commencé à peindre des nus et à participer à de nombreuses expositions à titre individuel ou collectif au sein d'associations d'artiste.
Cependant en dehors de la peinture, j'avais une autre passion qui ne m'a jamais quitté: Les animaux sauvages. Ainsi ces toiles que je peins maintenant racontent des moments d'émotions intenses lors de rencontres éphémères où la nature m'a permis d'entrer dans son intimité et sont aussi une façon de la remercier pour tout ce qu'elle m'a donné. Mes tableaux se veulent volontairement une vision brute et authentique de ce monde parallèle dont je me sens si proche.
