A tribute to Nicéphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre, Paris Photo is THE international event for photography lovers. For its 26th edition, the fair welcomes 191 exhibitors from 25 countries, 800 artists and 35 publishers to the Grand Palais Éphémère. 1/ Clémentine de la Féronnière presents Guillaume Zuilli, who paints a dense, graphic portrait of the American West. 2/ Magnin-a joins forces with Galerie Binome for an exclusive collaboration between Omar Victor Diop & Lee Shulman/The Anonymous Project. A montage in which the Senegalese artist slips into archival photographs from the Trente Glorieuses. 3/ Colombian photographer and filmmaker Andrés Barón exhibits his series Surfaces Dépliées at Galerie DS, playing on the multiplicity of meanings and the variability of identities. 4/ Hansan Hajjaj's colorful compositions presented by 193 Galerie borrow from popular North African imagery in a joyful tribute to the region's culture, identity and age-old traditions. 5/ Nathalie Talec, exhibited by Galerie Maubert, draws inspiration from the travel tales of explorers in the Far North to humorously portray herself in her frictional narratives. 6/ Galerie RX exhibits a polyptych by Pascal Convert. The archeological survey Falaise de Bâmiyân Panorama evokes the fragility of World Heritage in the face of conflict. 7/ At Paris-B, Chinese artist Zhang Kechun takes an interest in the representation of landscape and the traces left by man.
