🔸The image of a woman existing beyond time and beyond familiar cultural codes. A figure woven from the finest lines and flowing colors, reminding us of a beauty that cannot be captured or confined within standardized frames.
🔸She is both weightless and powerful. In her fluid form lies a profound protest against society’s dictate of external beauty — against a culture that teaches women to love themselves only if they fit imposed ideals.
🔸A faceless face becomes a powerful symbol of how individuality is erased when a woman is turned into an "ideal", a "perfect image". But in this absence lies her freedom: without a given face, she can be anyone. A woman who exists, even if unseen.
🦋The butterflies surrounding her are not mere decoration but symbols of fragility and the power of transformation. They speak of a woman's right to change, to bloom in her unique form. They float around as a reminder that true beauty is born from inner freedom, not from imposed norms.
🔸This is an image of a woman who has stepped beyond the boundaries of imposed beauty. A manifesto of the freedom of body and spirit — living not to be judged, but to be.
This is not just a piece about beauty. It is a manifesto of a woman's right to her own body, her own beauty, her own path. A right to feel beautiful — beyond and despite.

Yana Dmitrieva is a contemporary artist exploring emotions, fears, and the human struggle for self-identity and self-expression. She currently lives and works in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
She graduated from an art college and the Institute of Culture, where she developed a strong foundation in fine arts and design. Initially working in product and interior design, she gradually transitioned into painting, seeking a deeper means of self-expression. Currently, she continues to expand her artistic practice by studying contemporary art.
In 2022, moving to Europe marked a new chapter in her creative journey. Personal and global upheavals became a catalyst for her artistic transformation, while art itself turned into a form of therapy and a way to process inner experiences. In her work, Yana examines the interaction between external circumstances and internal conflicts, creating visual metaphors of emotions, memories, and the search for meaning.
She works with various techniques, with a particular preference for oil on canvas due to its depth, tactility, and expressive potential. She also employs graphite and colored pencils to refine details and engage in meditative self-reflection.
Currently, Yana is developing a new series that explores the intricate relationship between individuals and their inner contradictions. Actively engaged in the contemporary art scene, she plans to present her work in a solo exhibition, inviting viewers to reflect on the nature of emotions and identity.
