Biography
YACOV GABAY
born 1937 in kibbutz yagur Israel.after completing military service studied painting for brief periods with Aaron Giladi and Avigdor Steimatzky.1964 received scholarship from "Helena Rubinstein Fund" and travelled to PARIS.
accepted by Academie des Beaux Arts and joined Chaplain-Midi Rose Atelier.
1977 returned to Israel and has since given one-man shows in TEL-AVIV,PARIS,
LONDON and NEW-YORK. also took part in group exhibitions on various subjects such as landscape,nature,stiil life,portraiture and erotica.works in variety
of techniques,but chiefly oil painting.member of the Israel Association of
Painters and Sculptors.
