Painting for me is a process of meditation. I lose all sense of time when working with color and my ideas. It's like music that you hear inside yourself and then try to reveal it using many color pallets. When my work deeply resonates with people, I rejoice.

      I am a professional artist, educated in Florence, at the Classical Academy of Arts and at Florence Academy of Fine Arts. This knowledge helps me achieve a high-quality of execution of paintings with a modern interpretation.

     My creative journey first began with the study of techniques at the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergey Andriaka. Watercolor is a superb training media. There are no second chances to redo a stroke or cover up line. At the same time, one’s hand becomes liberated and learns a sense of ease as the work appears.

   I had the privilege to continue my education in the wonderful renaissance city of Florence at the Classical Academy of Arts. Daily intense practice with models, oil portraits, figure drawings from life, study of composition and anatomy, gave me a solid classical base. There, I obtained a diploma and a master’s degree.

     With delight, I then went on to investigate modern art at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. It is where I Iearned different painting techniques using various medias, while participating in exhibitions.  Thus, my art seeks to find a balance between classical art and modern trends.
