Having mixed subtle images of a figure, with geometric non-objectivity, and minimalism, I try to free the form from the images of figures, again taking a step towards “pure, absolute creativity” - that is, to get away from imitating things that already exist in nature.
Soaring suprematist elements of the composition of geometric shapes lead the viewer into parallel spaces, in which the spiritual principle dominates and there is nothing material
Wiktor Kopacz is a contemporary award-winning Polish sculptor. The author preserves the traditions of figurative plastics and realistic sculpture in his bronze works, but he also transforms this knowledge in search of his own artistic voice and direction. There are tendencies to move away from figurativeness in the monumental works of the sculptor, which are primarily made of stone. With formal, abstract volumes and a tendency for conceptual thought, they address spatial difficulties.
The Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts of Belarus, the Memorial Museum-workshop of Z.I. Azgur, the Pedvale Open Air Museum in Latvia, the National Art Museum of Shanxi Province in China, the Hualien County Stone Sculptural Museum in Hualien, Taiwan, the Uttarayan Art Foundation in Jaspur, Baroda, Gujrat, India, and the Kanu Nayak Art Foundation in Mumbai, India all have Wiktor Kopacz's works in their collections.
His monumental sculptures are installed in parks and cities in Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, China, Italy, Japan, India, Iran, Israel, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Spain, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Oman, Turkey, Taiwan, Ukraine, Morocco and France.
