I used to hate red - which is funny as hate like anger are associated with red. I used to think that this colour is some how agressive and good for people who wanted attention.

After seeing the exhibtion by Ismael Lagares at Lanford Gallery I saw first hand that red can be joyful. So I decided to explore it myself.

The background layer is created with crison red. Then the paint was poured to create large patches of colour to be spread by strong blows of air. After that step was finished the thin lines of paint were poured by hand.

Gold fish is an abstract take on fish and a part of "organic forms".

Weronika Aaron Dyląg (1987, born in Nakło nad Notecią) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Warsaw, known for her exceptional graphic design work and her passion for painting. Her transition into theworld of painting five years ago allowed her to explore a new medium to express her artistic vision.

Dyląg's graphic design background is evident in her early paintings, which are imbued with strongcompositions and a sharp sense of color theory. Her curiosity in psychology and social interactions influences her art, and she firmly believes in the power of positive emotions to maintain mental well-being. Consequently, her paintings reflect a vibrant and uplifting color palette.

In 2021, Dyląg expanded her creative horizons and delved into the world of acrylic painting. She hasbeen experimenting with various acrylic mediums and paint ratios to create unique and mesmerizingeffects. In particular, Dyląg has discovered a love for blowing paint with air, an unconventionaltechnique that adds an ethereal quality to her work, allowing her to push the boundaries oftraditional painting techniques.
