I am only confused that some of the colors of the picture are distorted when photographing and for example, too much yellow appears on the water and almost no orange is visible. I will draw for myself a more accurate sketch with the addition of another ballerina near the window and will finally determine for myself the size of the picture. After that I'll order the necessary canvas in the workshop. After receiving the canvas I will look at the sketch and begin to apply a preliminary drawing. Dear Vitalij, yes, that is what I meant by "risk". The final price of something between 3000€ and 4000€ is absolutely okay with me. That should be about the budget depending on how fine you will want to work it out. The more you need to work it out the more time it takes - the central ballerina the finest as I am inclined to some realism as you could already see in the examples and your 2 paintings, window medium to high, rest like in your other two pictures - and I do not care to spend 1000 more if it shows. The size of about 80 high and 120 wide (landscape) is good. You know best which proportion will suit the painting and when its not a good perspective anymore. Just do not make it bigger than 80x140 as my wall won't have the place. For the material and the first start 20% (let's say 800€?) in advance is okay, too. You could ask Artmajeur to collect and keep the money parked for you. If I should not buy (that would mean Corona got me killed or something like it) or we interrupt after some stage, that money would be yours unconditionally. I think they can do that for us. And still you would have a masterpiece to sell. Also agreed, we talk about the picture on a sturdy stretcher frame, NO real frame is included (if you have someone with the perfect real frame we could talk later). When you are ready during next year, probably Summer, I would pay the last installment and you can send it in. Do not hurry, let it be fun for you. Choose the canvas you deem best. No knots is good enough. Make it as smooth as you can and need. I have paintings of this size and they all have reflections and slight paint bumps when looked at at a steep angle. We are not doing photography here, right ? :-) I will not block your creativity. The light of your Ballerina 2 (B2) is perfect. I would not like to use lamps during the bright day to illuminate it. B2 is a very good example of what I'd like anyway!!! Also the second ballerina at the window looking out in B2 is so nice. Maybe you could include that, too. It would fill the big space of a landscape painting. Saint Petersburg would be preferred over Moskow (no tourist monuments, please) or purely fictitious background "river through old Russian city". The window background will not have to be be worked out much anyway I guess; it is just surroundings, not the focus of the scene. The sketch already has the right idea. Unfortunately, the Russian government seems to have my mail provider blocked (protonmail.ch). It is a secure and scrambled end-to-end encrypted service which the authorities obviously won't let pass as they cannot read the content. What a world we live in ... This is so pretty. I love the sujet of dancers preparing for ballet. Warm colours. It just does not fit where I would present it. Do you have a painting like this in landscape orientation (60-80 high and 100-120cm wide), too?
