Les Vieux Bardeaux évoque la douce usure du temps et la mémoire silencieuse des lieux. Cette peinture abstraite, réalisée à l’acrylique sur toile galerie, s’inspire de la texture patinée des bardeaux anciens, marqués par les intempéries. Une métaphore visuelle d’un chez-soi chargé de souvenirs, d’empreintes et de transformations.
La palette feutrée et crayeuse, presque effacée, suggère une patine délicate. Des lignes estompées traversent la surface, telles des fondations de souvenirs, jamais tout à fait fixés. Par transparence, les couches picturales se révèlent peu à peu, racontant une histoire de lente disparition et de beauté fragile.
Les côtés peints en noir soulignent l’œuvre, qui est vernie, signée, et prête à être accrochée.

The muted, chalky palette, almost faded, suggests a delicate patina. Blurred lines cross the surface like foundations of memories, never fully fixed. Through transparency, the pictorial layers gradually reveal themselves, telling a story of slow disappearance and fragile beauty.
