As I remember myself, I always drew. I painted as a child in a children's art school, I painted in my youth - at the Kiev Art Institute. I draw every day and now. For me it is also organic how to breathe, how can it be otherwise I can not imagine. I consider myself a happy person, because all my life I have been doing what I love and for this I am rewarded
Today, my priority is portraiture - the state of the human soul can be seen in the eyes, the mood to guess from the corners of the lips - it fascinates me and captivates me so much, and when the result is close it is like a moment of Truth. Figurative, landscape and abstraction are also present in my work. I do not allow myself to dwell on one thing - it’s boring, at least for me.
I work in the following styles - impressionism, expressionism, realism and abstractionism. Very often I allow myself to mix it all. Mostly I work in oil painting technique. I also welcome new materials, study their properties, and sometimes combine them. Acrylic, raisin, various inks, textured materials - all this gives an additional experience. Having different experiences and when I start a creative task - I follow my feelings at the current moment in time.
