Artists at all levels with backgrounds in any medium will find these workshops are an exciting opportunity to expand their visual vocabulary with wax. Encaustic is painting with pigmented melted beeswax. Victoria’s comprehensive encaustic workshops give participants a thorough knowledge of the encaustic medium and method, from the classical to the experimental.
Beginners welcome. Pre-registration required. Bring a lunch and smock to wear.
Victoria Wallace is a multi-media artist working, exhibiting and teaching workshops in acrylic, encaustic, and sculptural media. She operated a successful mural company in Toronto for over 25 years. Victoria’s extensive commissions include work for television, film, theatre, businesses and private collections across Canada and internationally. Victoria participates on the annual Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour.
