For the national specifics, traditional embroidery applied to clothing or decorative items and household items, has a very rich history and almost as long as that of the Romanian people themselves. It developed simultaneously with local customs, beliefs and traditions and is part of the popular arts that hide the past and values specific to the national spirit.
Traditional Romanian motifs proved a rich source of inspiration, without limit, for a new section with works painted in the technique of oil on canvas and signed Victoriart.

It is said that a stone hidden in an apple is an orchard that you can't see yet. That's how I was, a seed born in Romania, on Transylvanian plains that sprouted in Cluj - Napoca, and also here, in the Fine Arts High School and in the Univ. of Arts and Design, I flourished professionally in several branches of art: easel painting, mural painting and conservation-restoration.
