Vlad Bubnov
I am enjoying photography for almost 20 years. I’ve never went to school for it – everything that I have learned is on my own and through contacts with people who enjoy the same field. I have displayed my prints at a number of local shows and received several top prizes. My works have been purchased locally, as well as across the country (US).
My style of photography is mostly in the Abstract and Minimalistic category, although I do enjoy other types of photography as well. All of my photography is natural - I do not pre-stage nor digitally manipulate any of my objects. I paint my digital canvas with existing images. However, I do look at things a bit differently than most people - I see abstract beauty in almost everything that surrounds me. This is the message I try to convey through my work. When looking at my images, people are often puzzled and try to guess what they are seeing. When I tell them what it actually is, they are surprised, because they never looked at the object in a way it is depicted in my work.

Composition
In the past analog days, I’ve used Nikon 35mm cameras. I still have them and use them once in a while. Over the last several years, I mainly use digital photo equipment. Irregardless of whether it is analog or digital, the basics are the same. Composition is still the main key, doesn’t matter what format.
