It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Art image bankI'm Van Evan Fuller in St. George, Louisiana, USA. I have been a commercial illustrator and cartoonist since 1980, working then—of course!—with ink, paint and paper. In 1991 I ended up at a newspaper, where I was introduced to the Macintosh. At first I condemned it as a tool of the Dark Lord. Then I discovered that I had a knack for it, and I decided it wasn’t. I won all sorts of awards for my newspaper work, and they gave me lots of little wooden plaques that worked beautifully as cheese boards.

Unlike a traditional painter, a commercial artist works under deadlines and must re-invent himself on a regular basis to accommodate the requirements of a given project. I am now mercifully free of deadlines and bosses. But I still re-invent myself continually, seeking only to please myself—and you, if I can.

My career is an ongoing experiment in swallowing up every imaginable artistic style, philosophy and subject. Whether I'm versatile or suffering from multiple personality disorder, I cannot say. People have described me as a post-modernist, and I will go along with that because it sounds so intellectual and pretentious.

Categorizing art is like herding cats, so don't expect the gallery titles to be of much use. My entire collection includes nearly 3,000 pieces, and it will take a while to post them all, so please visit often. If you let me know you're coming, I'll make coffee.
