Tsanko Tsankov is a contemporary award-winning Bulgarian painter. His paintings primarily portray female nude, conveying the emotions and experiences of both mythological and mortal characters. Each piece is multi-layered and transforming, with a lot of movement and a lot of mystery. Imaginary worlds fade into the background before presenting themselves to the viewer.

Tsanko Tsankov was born in 1962, in Bulgaria, where he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. He has displayed his paintings in solo and group exhibitions internationally and his works may be found in private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, UK, Greece, India, Syria, Argentina, Mexico, USA, Japan.
