Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. In the same year, he clinched the First Prize at the Cartoon Contest “Black Humor” in Romania, the Second Prize at the 2nd International Cartoon Contest in Croatia, and the Grand Prize for Cartoon at the 23rd International Biennial of Humor and Satire in Art in Bulgaria.

The year 2017 marked another milestone in Popov's career with the acquisition of the Third Prize at the 7th LIMES Cartoon Competition in Berlin, Germany. In 2016, he received the Award of Excellency at The HumoDeva International Cartoon Contest in Romania, showcasing the consistent recognition of his artistic talent on both national and international platforms.
