Biography
Tracy Brown is an experienced painter from the United States who has exhibited her vibrant and feminist artwork nationally and internationally in countries such as South Korea, Argentina, England, Italy, and Switzerland. Her pieces have been featured in various publications, including DAZED, Marie Claire, HuffPost, ELLE, and Juxtapoz. Brown's work can be found in over 100 private collections across the US. Recently, she had her first museum gallery solo exhibition at Artemizia Foundations’ Gallery 818. You can view two of Brown’s larger works within the museum's mural labyrinth. Her work is often described as bold, humorously defiant, and feminist.
As a fast-working artist, Brown draws inspiration from diverse sources such as advertising, street art, and art history. She aims to bring to light the suppressed emotions and societal constraints imposed on women. Through her work, Brown expresses a range of emotions, sometimes using sarcasm, humor, or irony.
For Brown, art is a medium through which she navigates the complexities of humanity, finding purpose and connection in life. Her process serves as a cleansing, a place to purge toxic stereotypes and perceptions of women.

Check out a promo I got to be part of for the Contemporary, Street, and Graffiti Art Museum I've been lucky to work with. They acquired one of my altered history pieces and commissioned me to paint two large works in their mural labyrinth. In the fall of 2023, I had my first one-woman Museum Gallery exhibition at their Gallery 818. There are so many amazing artists in the collection and it's exciting and such an honor to be part of it all!
