Je suis professeur agrégé d' arts plastiques à la retraite maintenant. J'ai découvert la gravure, il y a bien des années, aux Beaux-arts de Grenoble et les parfums (!) d'encre de l'atelier où se cachait cette pratique mystérieuse m'ont attiré irrésistiblement. les machines imposantes que sont les presses taille-douce - l'atmosphère feutrée et concentrée de l'atelier ont contribué a cet attrait

La diversité des techniques: l'eau-forte, l' aquatinte, la pointe sèche, la manière noire, les techniques photopolymères contemporaines rendent cette pratique infinie. Le côté aléatoire et expérimental de certaines techniques et les surprises que l'on s'efforce de maitriser permettent de varier les résultats et les découvertes.

J' anime des cours de gravure dans mon atelier à Etoile sur Rhône. J'aime travailler longtemps sur une oeuvre de façon précise et lente.

Le dessin et la gravure en noir et blanc sont mes expressions favorites.
