Copyright Claim

Procedure for Making Claims of Copyright Infringement

Important: Launching a procedure to have images being removed can be unnecessarily time consuming. Please consider the simplified procedure if you want your images removed quickly, save time, and money.

Simplified Procedure (self-resolution)

The quickest solution is usually to contact the artist or user who is presenting the images and claim your rights directly to them. In most cases, the user will simply remove all disputed images overnight.

  1. Locate the contact button on the artist profile
  2. Explain your issue with the alledged image, and include the URL of the image
  3. In most cases, the artist will remove the image immediately

If the procedure does not succeed, you can start a standard procedure.

Standard Report procedure

If the infringements are blatant (for example the artwork depicts a trademarked brand, or famous artwork) you can report the artwork or user who is presenting the images. Our moderation team will be notified and remove the images if they find the infringement characterized.

  1. Access the artwork infringing your rights
  2. Click on the reporting button with an elipsys icon bellow the artwork
  3. Report the artwork

If the procedure does not succeed, you can start a Full procedure.

Full Procedure (longer resolution)

To use this procedure, you will need to provide us with the details of all URLs where the images appear, your identity, and indisputable proof of your ownership or rights over the concerned images.

By submitting a copyright complaint, you represent, under penalty of perjury, that the information you provide accurate, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on such person's behalf, and that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
