Tina Liao

I majored in art at beijing University in China. In 2000, I immigrated to the United States and studied computer design as a graduate student. In my past studies, I was fortunate to take art as an introductory course to my major. This course gave me the opportunity to deeply understand the nature of art and the process of art creation, and provided me with a platform to communicate and display my creative results.Fine art, as a discipline, is the study of artistic form, expression and creation. By studying art, I deeply understand the importance of art to human society. Art is not only a visual enjoyment, but also a medium to express thoughts, emotions and inner world. Through creation, I am able to transform complex thoughts into images, convey my feelings and opinions through my works, and communicate with viewers.As a discipline, art is not only limited to creation on paper or canvas, but also constantly seeks innovation and breakthroughs in the cross-integration with other disciplines and technologies. With the development of digital art and virtual reality, the expression methods of art in virtual space have become more diverse and rich. In the future, art will play an important role in a wider range of fields and bring people more colorful artistic experiences.
