Takanori Kurokawa

Takanori Kurokawa was born and lives in Nagano, Japan. He started his career in 2006 and spent the first few years of his career seeking to develop a style of his own, a style that no one had ever created with glass. Once he had developed his original style, he slowly but surely obtained the chance to join exhibitions and art fairs in Japan, the United States and Europe, as well as stay at an artist-in-residence. After that, he lost his passion for art and moved to France. He lived there for four years but returned to Japan in 2022. In 2023 he restarted his artistic career. He now works across a wide range of art works, including 2D art, sculpture and installations made with small pieces of glass.

Takanori Kurokawa est né et vit à Nagano, au Japon. Il a commencé sa carrière en 2006 et a passé les premières années de sa carrière à chercher et développer son propre style, un style unique que personne n'avait jamais créé avec du verre. Une fois qu'il a développé son style original, il obtient lentement mais sûrement la chance de participer à des expositions et les salons d’art au Japon, aux États-Unis et en Europe, ainsi que de séjourner dans une résidence d'artiste. Après cela, il perd sa passion pour l'art et s'installe en France. Il y vécut quatre ans et retourna au Japon en 2022. En 2023 il relança sa carrière artistique. Il travaille maintenant sur la sculpture et joue avec les textures pour faire vivre ses créations et crée des reliefs avec de petits morceaux de verre.
