Steve Phillips

After using a brush for 30 years to solder Jewellery painting was a natural progression.I like to experiment with the medium of paint and explore different colours.  i only use oils now.i discover more  using oils,working on a card surface rather than canvas,the  paint drys much quicker and i sense more freedom in this,i am intrigued by the  mistake mark the mistake of the brush,i try to work  as much as i can,this seems to be fertile ground for the domino effect of one idea leading to another.also i view allot of  artwork that i find very motivating,and stimulating.its great to be a part of Artmajeur art site with its very high standard of artists .how can one describe my painting.or any painting in the search for words.i look for paintings where the idea and subject is inspiring for myself.
