Carrie Fell’s art depicts the traditional icons of the Old West with a thoroughly modern twist using vibrant colors and fluid forms. This is the
New West - the west as a “state of mind” - a place of change with an attitude of boldness and energy. Carrie’s West is free-spirited - her paintings and
designs offer sophisticated, yet fun style that appeals to the maverick within each of us.

Carrie's paintings are collected by corporations and individuals across the United States and abroad. Recently an original canvas painting, entitled "Crazy Mountain Saddle Slickers", was acquired by the Booth Western Museum in Catersville, GA for it's permanent collection.

Carrie Fell

The Booth Western Art Museum is pleased to announce the acquisition of
Carrie Fell’s painting Crazy Mountain Saddle Slickers for the Museums’
permanent collection. The Booth Museum exhibits one of the most
important collections of contemporary Western art in the country. This
purchase was made possible with funds from the Booth Western Art
Museum’s Art Acquisition and Exhibition Fund supported by members of
the Museum.

“We believe Carrie Fell is one of the artists who exemplify the energy and
attitude of the ‘New West’ in their artwork,” said Booth Executive Director
Seth Hopkins. “One of the collecting goals we have at the Booth Western
Art Museum is to identify the artists who are stretching the boundaries of
traditional Western art and those who are presenting the subjects,
iconography, and mythological imagery of the American West in exciting
new ways.”

The Booth Western Art Museum, located in downtown Cartersville,
Georgia, opened in August, 2003. The 80,000 square-foot facility houses a
premiere collection of contemporary Western art; as well as collections of
Western movie posters, contemporary Civil War art, Presidential letters and
photographs, and Western illustration. Since opening the Museum has
hosted nearly 100,000 visitors from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries.
