Sonia Mandel is a contemporary French sculptor. She uses contrasts, curves, and angles in her sculptures, which gives them clean lines that she expresses with force. In a very personal manner, she presents us with numerous possible readings. Mandel prefers to complement them with poems that carefully represent her concerns about humanity in today's world, while maintaining the mystique of femininity.
Sonia Mandel was born in 1937, in Paris, France. Her sculptures are in private collections in France, Belgium, England, USA, Hungary, Germany, Singapore, etc.
