The series of paintings is aimed at nonconformists, people whose personal views differ from the crowd. Whose individual actions or lifestyle do not conform to the cultural mainstream. Lateral thinkers, free spirits, different thinkers or just people who dare to swim against the tide and occasionally display a healthy “f**k you” attitude. The REBEL series is for all those who don't have to look good to be aware of their own worth. Or just drop five and lean back with a relaxed "Whatever". Live your life the way you see fit.

For me, painting this series was an important step in "artistic free swimming". The first paintings in the series were still rather reserved and delicate, the more I painted freely, the more provocative, even rebellious the motifs became. However, it was important to me to remain authentic and not just to create "clumsy, provocative" works, but to keep an eye on the overall aesthetic effect of the work.
As with the FACADE series, I chose a quick, abstract line for the implementation. Hard contrasts of black, white and neon with a lot of dominant typography. The works of art are rocking and rebellious, reminiscent of street art - loud and unmistakable. Free for further interpretations...
