Shanna Chen

Hello, my name is Shana Chen, i'm an artist.  I was born and raised in china, and studied art at a young age.  Following my passion for painting, i attended the prestigious Higher School of Fine Arts in Beijing. China, where i trained to be a painter.  After graduated, i spent several years creating artworks.

my paintings are dominated by diverse elements, exploring new methods, styles and materials throughout the career. The draws inspiration from all manifestations of nature: land, sea and sky; Memory and emotion; Then and now. These sources of inspiration are used to create interesting and occasionally abstract images that come alive on the canvas.The paintings are the result of deliberate coincidences and carefully planned progress. The desire to use color, lighting, structure and form that complement a variety of techniques is central to my artworks.
