Sergej Jakovlev

I left my studies at the technical university in 1980, when I found that my vocation is art. My teacher Vitaly Stasevich, on the speciality of Fine Art at the Pedagogical University (where I studied in 1981-1986), convinced me to follow my vocation independently of any circumstances. My teacher and friend Victor Reikhet, professor of St. Petersburg Academy of Arts (where I studied in 1987-1993), is an example for me of such a meaning of life. Now I am a painter living in Sweden, founder and president of the non-profit cultural organization International Society of Artists (ISA) https://sites.google.com/site/societyofartists/
