Lo utilizziamo ovunque, sulla pasta o semplicemente con il pane, nell'insalata o come condimento per le carni. Stiamo parlando dell'olio, cosa ancor più importante però è che è un alimento sano e nutriente. L’olio extravergine di oliva è un alimento con caratteristiche eccezionali che fa bene alla salute e al benessere generale dell’organismo, e alla Motocicletta.
This composition is an irreverent ode to advertising surrealism, where the boundary between cooking and mechanics melts... into engine oil.
At first glance, we are greeted by a female figure with a plastic smile, worthy of 1950s ads, intent on carefully pouring a drizzle of oil - but not just any oil: the iconic "Fiat Oil", known more for engines than for fried aubergines. The woman's delightfully naive expression seems to suggest: "I don't know why, but this oil really tastes like... pistons."
Below, a sumptuous dish - a carnivorous and side dish triumph - enthusiastically receives the precious lubricating fluid, perhaps unaware that it will be more suitable for a muffler than a frying pan. Yet, the real masterpiece lies in the question printed in red:
"Why is this oil always so clear even after frying?"
The answer is obvious: because it is engine oil!
The visual play between the two packages - that of the "real" cooking oil and that of Olio Fiat - is a coup de théâtre worthy of the best advertising Dadaism. The dichotomy between function and fiction generates a semiotic short circuit that makes the work pungent and paradoxical.
In conclusion, this work is a slow-fire conceptual frying, an invitation to reflect on how much we sometimes trust packages... and those who pour them with too much conviction. Recommended viewing with a wrench in one hand and a fork in the other.
