Sandy Hall

This is about using the gift God gave me.

Sandy was born in the small town of Perry, Florida. Growing up with 5 siblings she swore never to have kids till she was rich and famous. Well, as we all know it is a good thing that God does not hold us accountable for swears and promises we make while still in our childhood state of mind.
Sandy later had 6 kids of her own (5 girls and 1 boy), becoming a full time mother and working 2 jobs after ending a 12-year relationship in divorce. God blessed, and she was able to take care of her family and lead a successful life.

In 2001, Sandy had a stroke that left her partially paralyzed on her left side and unable to walk or really do anything for herself. In January of the next year, she was diagnosed with a terminal illness and told to go home and get her affairs in order because she would be doing good if she made it to March. Well March has come and gone, and she is still here by the grace of God. She is now walking, talking, and painting. When she tells her testimony, people often look at her in amazement. The only physical signs she has of what has happen to her is the fact her left hand cannot open all the way. The doctors are amazed, they know what her test said, and they know what their experience has shown them, yet her ability to live has shocked them all. So much so that she has one doctor that always asks her when she has an appointment, "You still here?"


Sandy thought she began painting as therapy to relax, however as she began to eat right, and go to therapy, the more she was able to paint, and the more she wanted to share her testimony. In doing so, Sandy decided to remove the "I" in testimony, feeling her journey was not hers alone but the will and grace of God.

Today Sandy travels twice a month to do shows and share her testimony. She was recently featured in the nationally distributed periodical, Paint Magazine
