Samanta Bednarczyk, also known as Samos17 Portraitist, is an artist born on September 20, 1979 in La Rochelle, in Charente-Maritime, a region that she considers to be the most beautiful in France. From birth, she was driven by a deep passion for life in general, but especially for art.
Samanta spent the first 18 years of her life in Seine-et-Marne, but her love for art has always accompanied her. At the age of 7, she created her very first realistic portrait, and since then she has never stopped drawing. Her interest in drawing was awakened by her great-grandfather, a passionate artist, who shared his love for this art with her. Samanta was already very curious at the age of 8, looking for faces to reproduce in books and magazines.
Her academic career led her to studies in dietetics, and subsequently, she became a leisure center leader and home childminder. However, his love for drawing remained steadfast throughout his life.
Although she struggles to call herself an “artist” or a “portraitist,” Samanta began exhibiting her work two years ago, with a first public exhibition of drawings. This experience enriched her and gave her great satisfaction seeing people's emotions when they received their portrait. This motivated her to continue to evolve and surpass herself in her art.
Samanta is married to Fabien Bednarczyk, who supports her in her artistic adventure. She has three children. She regularly participates in exhibitions throughout the year and hosts artistic events. Its exhibition career includes events such as Les Surgériens ont du talent in 2013, the Festival Echallard en Charente in 2014, and an exhibition at Port des Barques in 2015, among others.
