Artiste peintre autodidacte, Salomé Pérignon suit une seule règle : celle de l'instinct. Après plusieurs années d'exploration stylistique libre, elle consacre aujourd'hui son travail à un projet unique et radical : peindre exclusivement Tony Ward (Anthony Borden Ward), mannequin iconique de renommée internationale, artiste aux multiples facettes et figure centrale d'une forme d'érotisme et de fantasme masculin contemporain. À partir de photographies réalisées par Tony Ward lui-même au fil des années, Salomé explore la tension entre puissance et fragilité, image et intimité, désir et vulnérabilité. Son œuvre s'adresse à un public adulte et interroge notre regard sur la masculinité érotisée, tout en rendant hommage à un corps devenu légende. Chaque toile est une tentative de capturer l'homme derrière le mythe.
Self-taught painter Salomé Pérignon follows a single rule: instinct. After several years of freely exploring styles and themes, she now devotes her work to a unique and radical project: painting exclusively Tony Ward (Anthony Borden Ward), an internationally renowned model, multifaceted artist, and central figure in contemporary representations of male eroticism and fantasy. Using photographs taken by Tony Ward himself over the years, Salomé delves into the tension between strength and vulnerability, image and intimacy, desire and exposure. Her work is intended for an adult audience and challenges our perception of eroticized masculinity, while paying tribute to a body that has become legendary. Each canvas is an attempt to capture the man behind the myth.
