Né près de Paris en 1970, j'ai commencé à pratiquer le dessin en 1986. En 1991, j'y ai ajouté le travail de la couleur en utilisant craies et pastels puis peintures à l'huile et acrylique.
C'est à l'occasion d'un accident me privant momentanément de l'usage d'une main que j'ai décidé de conserver mes travaux que je détruisais au fur et à mesure jusqu'alors. Je n'ai donc pas encore d'exposition à mon actif.
Autodidacte et revendiquant l'étiquette de créateur d'art brut, je laisse au spectateur le libre sens de mes peintures même si elles ont un titre. Son regard est un lieu dans lequel j'espère trouver un échos, une résonnance.
Mon travail a pour origine la pensée de Lévinas et les torsions de Bacon mais il s'y trouve une tentative de relier grâce à ce Symbolique, au Symbolique une lecture qui a vu un lien -lien de sens bien sûr- de cet Emmanuel Lévinas d'une richesse humaine impressionante, d'un Maurice Merleau-Ponty dont la phénoménologie aura su en faire un acteur d'une Petite sagesse... et d'un certain Henri Bergson fascinant de par sa grâce, sa justesse ainsi que de sa pertinence.
De ce fait, je mets du sens avant tout dans ce qui a figure humaine d'après une impression laissée, un récit, un émoi, une indifférence, sans oublier qu'une invitation au voyage se glissera dans mon travail.
