Nikolai Bogomolov is a St. Petersburg artist, born in 1956. Graduated from the Leningrad Technological Institute.The beginning of his creative career in the eighties was a series of exhibitions together with artists of non-conformist culture, the traditions of which continue to this day.From 1986 to 1991 he exhibited mainly with the Association of Experimental Fine Arts (TEII). In 1987 he became a member of the “Island” group. In 1990 he participated in the large Soviet-American project “All for One Earth”. In the period 1990-97. He has exhibited primarily on the West Coast of the United States, both in galleries and as a participant in art festivals. In 1995-1998 together with Urisman Fine Arts, he organized a number of exhibitions of St. Petersburg artists on the west coast of the United States.Participant of more than 100 exhibitions (25 personal).
