Après une formation d’architecte et une quinzaine d’années en cabinet d’architecture, j’ai voulu renouer avec ma première passion d’adolescente, « la Peinture ».
Le travail de la couleur me manquait trop ! Vivant en Provence, le soleil, la mer et donc les contrastes de couleurs vont toujours m’inspirer.
Quelques années plus tard lors d’un stage, je découvre le modelage sur terre, puis en m’essayant sur divers matériaux à sculpter, je m’aperçois que je peux aussi jouer de la couleur et des formes en 3D !
C’est ainsi que depuis 10 ans, de gracieuses baigneuses aux formes arrondies naissent sur mes croquis avant de prendre postures et couleurs en différents matériaux, papier mâché, plâtre résine, plâtre polyester, béton et même le bois. Rondeur, grâce et féminité restent pour moi indissociables …
Quel que soit le sujet, mon travail s’articule autour de courbes et contre-courbes, toujours à la recherche de l’harmonie dans l’exagération…
Ainsi 3 passions m’ont accompagnées dans ma vie, et 1 seul fil conducteur : La Création
