By Pablo Catasso (2021)
Someone may think that this is just an accidentally spilled paint, and someone will say discontentedly: "Where is the art here?”. But no, the great Catasso has everything thought out and there is not a single superfluous detail. Just look at this circle of paws-it represents the wandering of the creator around his idea, endless reflection and doubt. And these scratches? It is as if the master interrupts the thought process and begins to implement the idea. See how high the tail is raised - this is a sign that the master is definitely satisfied with the work done. Bravo!
The artist did not deprive his work of humor. The canvas is a luxurious burgundy carpet decorated with tassels around the perimeter. The materials play on the contrast with each other: a light and iridescent velvety texture is complemented by a textured matte acrylic coating.
