René D'Ouvenou

My name is René d'Ouvenou, I am 58 years old and was born in Hungary. I have French and Italian roots in me. Even in kindergarten, I was an unusual personality who stood out from the usual norm. Even as a child, I had abstract ideas and thoughts that pushed me to turn them into reality. Those around me often didn't understand me, but this didn't bother me much. They tried to impose certain rules and guidelines on me, but they were not in harmony with my personality.

Even at a young age, I implemented ideas and drawings that seemed too futuristic for those around me. By a lucky coincidence, I started studying graphic design, which I barely passed because my true passion was always art. I worked for many years in various national and international advertising agencies. My ideas were finally recognized, my visions were understood, and they were successfully sold. Customers often requested insights into the intermediate stages of my ideas, which I presented in the form of drawings.

But finally, albeit late, I began to capture my thoughts on canvas myself. I work mainly with acrylic paints and modify them with different elements.
