Ordi Calder exposes in New York

Artist Ordí Calder explores the subtle transformation of objects and their surroundings over time. As the sun passes overhead, shadows creep over the surface of the earth, altering our perception of reality. In Vortice, wooden slats form a tunnel of shadows. In Layers, a patch of sunlight distorts architectural patterns. Rooting his images in time, Calder balances the inanimate with the power and grace of the natural world. As a self-taught photographer, Calder often rejects photographic norms, focusing on profound moments of beauty that often go unnoticed.
