Qual é a origem da técnica Carvão

O carvão vegetal é um material que se apresenta na forma de palitos (próximo ao carvão), geralmente proveniente de um ramo de salgueiro ou carvão (arbusto de mesmo nome) carbonizado no vácuo. Este material é usado principalmente para desenho. Permite obter pretos muito profundos, linhas precisas, finas ou pelo contrário muito largas, dependendo da forma como se utiliza. Pode ser apagado sem dificuldade, o que o torna uma técnica de eleição para a realização de trabalhos preparatórios ou esboços, mas torna delicada a sua conservação sem a utilização de fixador (verniz ou laca).
