"There are the things we know and the things we do not know...between are the doors" W. Blake
We are falling and getting up, stretched within the space of duality of our nature. We push the stone of life like Sisyphus with little or no content to where we are heading. Did we forget the legend about Atlas who is carrying the World on his shoulders? Could there be notion of a thought on possibility that we can raise burden above the head in order to encompass the view of short journey ahead of us? To meet, face to face with ourselves, correct what need be corrected, complete what must be completed, if not for sake of reason then to at least to calm our conscience.
To light up the mechanism of our dark nature, to disarm "demons" of our character and rise our being a little closer to the truth and love (divine keepers), is not only theme of my paintings, but also the purpose of our lives, because, no matter how much we reduce the theme of paintings on intimate reflection of a painter, I deeply believe that every painting is imbued with a grain of archetype we carry in us like a part of collective unconsciousness, in a quest to reveal an eternal secret about harmony of opposites existing since the beginning of the World. By separation of the light and darkness we are drawing a borderline, splitting personality in two, without possibility to become a Man, because at the same moment we draw that line, we are instinctively choosing just one side. Unfortunately, in such manner our whole society exist. Which side over poises?
