My name is Elena Petrova. I was born in 1982.
I am a professional artist, I am a member of the Creative Union of Professional Artists and the Eurasian Art Union. I live and work in Russia. Originally from Siberia from a small town in the Novosibirsk region. I lived for many years in Barnaul. But because of their love for the sea, they moved to live in Sochi.
I painted my first oil painting at the age of 10. At that time, I didn't think I would connect my life with drawing.
In 2000, I entered the railway institute.
In 2005, I got a job on the railway for distribution in Barnaul to my future husband.
In 2012, I quit my job to open my an online craft store.
In 2014, I sold the store and went with my husband to the sea, where I began to paint pictures. I went to study at master classes, where I remembered oil paints and canvases.
In 2015, I returned to Barnaul and entered the evening department of Barnaul Children's Art School No. 1.
In 2018, I went on maternity leave and gave birth to my long-awaited son Stepan.
In 2020 we will finally move to Sochi. There I begin to learn palette knife painting online.
The sea and the palette knife are my passion. These are paintings filled with life and energy.
In 2022, I am starting to study soft pastels.
In 2022, she gained experience as an exhibition curator in the film "Artist Community".
In 2023, he was selected for "The Other Art Fair Los Angeles Spring 2023" by Saatchi Art.
I paint in oil on canvas or dry pastel on paper. At the moment, more than 100 paintings and drawings have been painted, more than 7 years of working with orders. I study the influence of the sea on the human condition. My paintings are in private collections, houses and offices in Russia, UK, Romania, Singapore. Featured in online galleries such as SaatchiArt and Artmajeur.
My goal is to become a selling artist in my lifetime. I want everyone in their home or office to have my painting, symbolizing individuality, freedom and strength.
