Né le 25 septembre 1970 à La Varenne (94), Gilles Glaçon a passé une enfance agitée entre la Varenne et Nogent. C'est en foyer d'action éducative pour mineurs à Nogent qu'il eût la révélation que son salut était dans l'art. Très tôt impressionné par l'art pictural et sculptural, en particulier de la Renaissance italienne, il prit la décision de consacrer sa vie à l'art.
En 1985, il intégra l'école de formation en arts plastiques, rue de Seine à Paris, où il apprit toutes les disciplines pendant trois ans. En 1986, il s'initia également à la taille de la pierre. Dans les années 90, il partagea un atelier de peinture aux Beaux arts de Montparnasse. En 1996, il s'initia à des techniques de peinture en décoration murale, faux-bois, faux-marbre... Père d'une petite fille, la nécessité de subvenir matériellement à ses besoins l'obligea à cumuler divers métiers sur Paris, tout en continuant à préserver un peu de temps pour ses pratiques artistiques. Il participa à diverses expositions collectives dans les années 90, à l'Hôpital éphémère (Paris), aux Beaux arts de Montparnasse (Paris 14), à la Galerie Art vision (Paris). Il fit également des panneaux pour une collection de prêt à porter haute couture Guy Laroche.
Depuis 2001, il consacre tout son temps à la peinture en Bourgogne. Il a exposé de Nîmes à Séville en passant par Bruxelles et Paris. Ses œuvres se vendent directement dans son atelier, sur ebay et en salle des ventes.
